My Dad’s Funeral

By November 17, 2018Blog

My father, Jack Lee Hadley, passed away last week. He had been living with us for the last 5 years or so and has had some health struggles. We’ll miss him.

Many of our family’s friends and relatives were unable to attend the funeral, so we’ve taken the funeral’s content and created the video below. I hope it helps you celebrate the life of this good man along with us.

A few years before his passing, he and I had fun creating a little blog where we posted a few things about his life. You can view it >here.

Jack was born in Reno, Nevada to Mabel Brown Hadley and LaMarr E. Hadley. He grew up primarily in Barstow, California and was an exceptional athlete, lettering in multiple sports. He earned a football scholarship to BYU and was a starter on the team for several seasons.

Jack served a two-year LDS mission in the Central States Mission. Jack met Evajean (Evie) Caroline Franck at BYU and they were married in the St. George LDS Temple. Evie passed away in 2010.
